🛠️ What You’ll Do
- Command the Controls: Safely operate front-end loading trucks and hydraulic fork systems to lift and empty commercial waste containers across the New Bern area.
- Master Commercial Routes: Navigate local commercial sites, business parks, and tight urban spaces with care and efficiency.
- Represent the Brand: Deliver friendly, dependable service as the direct face of GFL to our commercial business partners.
- Drive Safety First: Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain optimal safety and truck performance.
- Stay Connected: Communicate closely with dispatchers and operations teams to solve route challenges on the fly.
🎯 What We’re Looking For
- Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience: 1+ years of commercial driving experience (front-load, waste industry, or heavy vehicle experience is a major plus!).
- Precision Skills: Comfortable operating joystick controls and hydraulic lifting mechanisms in varied environments.
- Safety Mindset: Uncompromising commitment to safety guidelines, vehicle upkeep, and road regulations.
- Physical Readiness: Ability to step in and out of the cab frequently and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

- Primary Location: New Bern, NC (Local routes, full-time hours, early morning shifts with overtime potential)
