Data Scientist
Managerial full-time position

Location: Panama (relocation support available).
Profile: Up to 3 Years of relevant Data Science experience. Academic background in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics. Knowledge in algorithmic development, deployment, and monitoring practices.

You will join a renowned company improving lives of billions of consumers. You’ll be welcomed within a large team of Data Scientists with diverse backgrounds and seniorities whereby you will take ownership of an algorithm/model need. Within that network, it will be your job to formulate the problem, apply state-of-the-art artificial intelligence, use P&G’s cloud platforms, and present the results from your algorithms and learn new things to create solutions to real opportunities.
With us you will:
- Mine terabytes of data, develop models and algorithms to derive actionable insights, and then translate those insights into business.
- Partner with business leaders to fully understand the problem, and data engineers to automate & deploy your models into applications providing prescriptions to Sales and Marketing executives - that allow P&G to serve consumers worldwide in a better way.
- Have a deep understanding of Statistics and Machine Learning, Optimization, and other advanced analytical models – and how to apply to real world problems
- Analyze and model on big datasets – translating 1.5TB daily consumer touchpoints and 500 million consumers' behaviors to actionable recommendations.
- Answer business questions and propose solution for business problems by applying machine learning techniques and algorithms and automatize analysis of consumer information or other deep learning data.
- Discover and invent next-generation analytic capabilities for our category analysts and business partners.
- Own your new creative algorithm-driven applications from design-thinking up to user adoption.
- Team-up with technology partners to translate your innovations into robust, scaled, analytic solutions.

Job Qualifications
- Up to 3 Years of relevant Data Science experiences.
- Academic background in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Knowledge in algorithmic development, deployment, and monitoring practices.
- Experience in applying and scaling analytic techniques to deliver actionable insights from data.
- Fluency in Python, working with cloud environments, software development best practices.
- Experience in reinventing current business practices in CPG or related industries
- Experience with exploratory data analysis and working with business intelligence tools, such as KNIME, Tableau, PowerBI.
