Roles and Responsibilities

• Working closely with senior engineers and architects to understand requirements and software development activities.
• Implementation of software features based on design specifications and guidance
• Contributing to development and maintenance of application software components.
• Participating in testing and debugging software to ensure quality and reliability.
• Collaborating with global teams to support consistent and reusable software development practices.
• Troubleshooting and resolving software defects and performance issues.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and software quality

Quality Specific Goals:

• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
• Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
• Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 0–7 years of experience in software development (including internships or academic projects).
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and testing practices.
• Basic programming skills in one or more languages such as C++, C#.
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Business-level English communication skills for global collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related computer field
• Experience in application development using modern frameworks and development tools
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
