Your Team
The Innovation team shapes new exciting technologies that create future business for NXP. The team currently works on signal processing and machine learning methods for next-generation radars, autonomous driving, and robotics. We are currently looking for a highly motivated student for a 9-12 month internship/thesis.
Your Responsibilities
- Development of new algorithms (signal processing/ML) for specific use cases like object detection and navigation in autonomous driving and robotics.
- Working with an international team of scientists and engineers.
- Support in data collection needed for algorithm validation.
- Validation of developed methods in simulation platforms and/or real hardware prototypes.
- Dissemination of scientific results in top-tier publications.

Your Profile
- Enrolled in a Master of Science in electrical engineering, robotics, data science or equivalent.
- Strong experience in Python programming and ML model development.
- Experience with hardware is a plus.
- Familiarity/experience with Nvidia Sim and ROS is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (presentations, reading and writing technical papers).
Duration
This is a full-time internship/thesis (40 hours per week) with a duration of 9 months or longer. The assignment could also be suitable as a thesis/graduation project.
Please note that in order to be considered for an internship/working student assignment, you need to be registered as a student during the entire period.
