This position is a fully Onsite role in Aguadilla, PR. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.
What You Will Do:
- Collaborate on System Requirements and Software Development: Join a dynamic software team in a cross-functional environment, contributing to the definition of system requirements and translating them into detailed software requirements, UML/SysML models, and diagrams for a large-scale program
- Effective Communication and Team Collaboration: Work closely with other software engineers and team members to ensure clear communication and collaboration, fostering a cohesive, solution-focused environment across multiple disciplines
- Develop Code to Meet Customer and Certification Standards: Collaborate with your team to maintain, enhance, and develop software that aligns with customer requirements and meets certification standards, ensuring both functionality and compliance
- Software Implementation in Test Environments: Take responsibility for producing high-quality software implementations and integrating them within testing environments, ensuring the code is thoroughly tested and meets all specified requirements
- English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English

- You will gain valuable experience & an opportunity to lead, including roles such as Subject Matter Expert, Scrum Master, Product Owner, CAM, and Software Lead

Qualifications You Must Have:
- A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
- Educational knowledge and project application on software development using Python, C++, or similar, including debugging, integration, and deployment on software platforms.
- Familiarity with software development processes (e.g., Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD) and tools (e.g., Git, Gitlab, JIRA).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- DoD Security Clearance After Day 1
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Knowledge in basic Linux shell scripting, Python or Perl
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as C++ or C#
- Software level debugging experience.
- Knowledge of Database language such as SQL
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, and Coverity.
