- Support Software Product Managers in gathering, documenting, and organizing business and user requirements.
- Assist with developing product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other documentation used to support software development.
- Partner with stakeholders across Software Engineering, Design, Operations, and other business teams to better understand customer and business needs.
- Support product discovery activities, including user research, competitive research, data analysis, and identification of opportunities for product improvement.
- Assist with prioritization and planning activities by helping evaluate business needs, customer impact, and available data.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, product demonstrations, and retrospectives.
- Help track product initiatives, milestones, risks, dependencies, and action items.
- Analyze product usage, performance, or customer feedback to identify trends and provide insights to the product team.
- Assist with testing new features and functionality to help ensure solutions meet documented requirements and user needs.
- Develop presentations and other materials to communicate product updates, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Is currently enrolled in a relevant degree program with a focus on Business, Product Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field, with an anticipated graduation date in 2028.
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills and is comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Has an interest in technology, software products, and understanding how customer and business needs translate into product solutions.
- Is comfortable working with data and using information to identify trends, ask questions, and support decision-making.
- Has strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Is curious, proactive, and comfortable asking questions and bringing forward ideas.
- Is able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Has the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as a team member.
- Is authorized to work in the United States.
Highly preferred candidates also have:
- Prior internship, project, or relevant professional experience.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Exposure to product management, software development, business analysis, or project management through coursework, internships, or extracurricular activities.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar collaboration and analysis tools.
- Experience conducting research, analyzing data, or presenting recommendations based on findings.
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience working on cross-functional team projects.
