About the role
You'll own the data layer for Salmon's Collections function - building the models, reports, and datasets that the team depends on to make decisions and track performance.
What you'll do
- Work at the intersection of Collections, Risk, and DWH - building and maintaining the analytical infrastructure that connects raw data to operational decisions.
- Develop and support regular reporting and dashboards covering key Collections metrics; keep them accurate, documented, and useful as the business evolves.
- Monitor data quality across sources and calculations, investigate discrepancies independently, and resolve issues before they affect decisions downstream.
What you'll own
- Build and maintain data models and analytical datasets that support Collections operations and reporting.
- Develop new reports and dashboards; support ad-hoc analysis requests from Collections and related functions.
- Investigate data quality issues — identify root causes, not just symptoms — and document findings clearly.
- Document calculation logic, data sources, datasets, and reports so the next person doesn't have to reverse-engineer your work.

- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with large datasets.
- Experience building and maintaining data models and regular reporting.
