As a DevOps Engineer - Intern, Specialist, you will engage in the dynamic field of Software and Product Innovation, specifically within our Software Engineering practice. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing innovative software solutions that drive client success. As a Specialist, you will provide specialized technical knowledge, conducting detailed analyses and supporting specific projects with your advisory skills. You will adapt to a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of your work and consistently delivering quality results that contribute to the team's success.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network, leveraging your skills to enhance software engineering processes. Your contributions will be vital in supporting client-facing projects, where your technical know-how will be applied to solve complex challenges. Responsibilities
- Supporting the development and deployment of software solutions within a cloud engineering environment
- Conducting in-depth analysis of software engineering projects to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software development processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for software projects
- Utilizing programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++ to develop and maintain software applications
- Applying object-oriented design principles to create scalable and efficient software architectures
- Debugging and troubleshooting software issues to enhance application performance and reliability
- Engaging in code reviews to maintain coding standards and improve software quality
- Assisting in the management of application lifecycle and software project planning
- Leveraging microservices architecture to design and integrate enterprise applications
- Participating in quality assurance testing to validate software functionality and user experience
- Contributing to business process improvement initiatives through software development and integration
- Providing specialized technical support for client-facing software engineering projects
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 1 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
- Demonstrating proficiency in Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Utilizing programming languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript
- Applying knowledge of microservices and API management for software solutions
- Excelling in application development using platforms like Mendix and OutSystems
- Conducting in-depth analyses and debugging for software troubleshooting
